60 piles Ø 1500 mm Cropping of piles in Japan! The first piles have been processed with Brextor®! This is the impressive project “Pillars of Shinkansen Elevated Bridge” a remarkable project that contributes to the expansion of the Hokkaido Shinkansen in Tomakomai, Hokkaido. The piers of the Shinkansen elevated bridge consist of a series of concrete pillars supporting an elevated bridge for the Hokkaido Shinkansen, Japan’s high-speed rail network. Located in Tomakomai, Hokkaido, the bridge spans the Tomakomai River and is a central part of the planned extension from Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto to Sapporo, which is scheduled for completion in 2030.
