The planned route will run over several phases, with the first phase providing a link between London and Birmingham, followed by later extensions to Manchester and Leeds. HS2 is designed to reduce travel times, increase the capacity of the rail network, and promote economic development in various regions. However, the project has also received criticism regarding its costs, environmental impact, and the potential expropriation of land. The progress and implementation of the project continue to be the subject of public debate and political decisions in the UK. In the context of pile head processing, this refers to the preparation and processing of piles, which are necessary for the stability of the infrastructure and in particular bridges and viaducts.
